The Marriage Preparation Course - Developing Strong Foundations

What is The Marriage Preparation Course? The Marriage Preparation Course is for any engaged couple who want to develop strong foundations for a lasting marriage. Over five sessions spent together, you will learn important tools that will enable you to make your marriage work.

Who is it for? It is for any engaged couple who want to have the best possible start to their marriage. The course, while based on Christian principles, is very helpful and relevant for any couple with or without a Christian faith or church background.

  • How to recognize and appreciate your differences  
  • The art of communication
  • Resolving conflict
  • Spending time together
  • Nurturing your friendship
  • Making each other feel loved
  • Developing a good sexual relationship

Engaged Encounter

Marriage is a real challenge. To fail in marriage is almost normal in our modern society. Building a great relationship challenges the depths of our love, maturity, commitment and wisdom. Engaged Encounter helps you and your fiancé prepare for your life together after the wedding.

We will introduce you to a communication technique that will enable you to gain a deeper knowledge and understanding of each other. You will have opportunities, alone as a couple, to discuss the challenges that you will face; such as maintaining open communication, resolving conflict, in-laws, money and sex.
